Trees, Water & People (TWP) is 26 years old? That can’t be right. The years that Stuart and I spent creating and building TWP remind me of the years raising our three children. There were months of momentum and optimism that raced by at a gallop, and also moments of loss and challenges that felt like we would never make it through.

Happy solstice everybody.

In a few days we start getting a few extra minutes of daylight per day, and we get a choice of how we put those precious minutes to use. At best, we can hope to get to do the things we love, with the people we love, support the causes we care about, and work for the world we want.

At Trees, Water & People (TWP) we work hard to constantly improve our organization, and make sure we’re doing our best to honor the communities we serve, our staff and partners, and you, our donors.

January is a time of gratitude and focus for us at Trees, Water & People. We’re bowled over daily by the generosity of our supporters, and January allows us to take stock of progress we made last year, challenges we’ll need to rise to in 2022, and the resources we’ve been entrusted to do our work.
