Thanks for Supporting the Justa Cookstove Project

A third of the global population cooks their food with firewood, charcoal, or animal dung, exposing women and children to smoke and carbon monoxide.

In Central America alone, almost 20 million people cook with firewood daily, and Trees, Water & People works to improve conditions for the women who just want to feed their families.

Every $100 Justa stove cuts firewood use by half, and reduces smoke in the kitchen, and reduces carbon emissions into the atmosphere.

TWP builds 3,000 Justa stoves per year in Honduras. Your donation will directly manufacture and install fuel efficient stoves, creating jobs for rural tradespeople, employment for local small manufacturers, and cleaner air for families.

Cooking shouldn’t kill - thank you for making life better for families in Honduras.
