Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs)

A donor-advised fund is a type of giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to support your favorite charities. An easy way to think about a donor-advised fund is like a charitable savings account: you contribute to the fund as frequently as you like and then recommend grants to your favorite charity when you are ready. DAFs are an excellent way to both simplify your charitable giving and facilitate your strategic philanthropic goals.

Do you have a donor-advised fund through a charitable trust or community foundation? If so, you can make a gift through your DAF account to support Trees, Water & People. To give through your donor-advised fund:

  1. Contact your provider and initiate a grant recommendation for:

    Trees, Water & People
    Federal Tax ID: 84-1462044
    633 Remington St
    Fort Collins, CO 80524

  2. Let us know by contacting Diane Vella, at 970-484-3678 ext. 22 or diane@treeswaterpeople.org
