Renew the Rockies - The Answer is Blowing in the Wind

Trees, Water & People would like to thank all of our friends, volunteers, and sponsors who joined us in the festivities!  Without your generous support (and groovy costumes), this event could never be the success it is each year.

The Renew the Rockies evening of Saturday, March 6, 2010 – hosted at the Lincoln Center in Fort Collins - featured the theme, ‘The Answer is Blowing in the Wind’ complete with 1960s-style costumes and décor, live and silent auctions, casino style gambling, and live music and dancing with local bands Ilan Shamir & Friends and Scene Magazine’s Battle of the Bands winner Futaba.

A portion of the Renew the Rockies revenue will help complete the installation of a photovoltaic system at Kinard Junior High School in Fort Collins, Colorado. Our first Renewables on Schools recipient, Bethke Elementary School, now has all the funding required for its photovoltaic system. In fact, the school was able to leverage Renew the Rockies funds to purchase a system twice the size it had hoped for, and is currently installing a 20kW array! We hope to turn Kinard into another success story for renewable energy.

Peace, Love & Renewable Energy!

Thanks for making our

10th Annual Renew the Rockies
